one major thing being missed in this whole situation being missed is that martin is suffering from depression  why else would a 6'5 142kg  offensive tacle back down from  a 6'2 145kg guard with depression comes a lack of sel esteem so he would have no confidence to punch the bully in the mouth & end the problem now people say"why would he be depressed?" one of the side effects of traumatic brain injuries is depression the first thing they do after a traumatic brain injury is prescribe antidepressants & refer you to psychologist  in sthe nfl there is a culture  of seeing a shrink is soft Brandon marshal has led the charge on changing this ,and I think the NFL needs to require teams to carry neuropsychologist just like they do with team physicians  now you ask what traumatic brain injury did martin suffer weekly martin is banging heads with nfl caliber DE  these small insults to the brain add up I believe he is suffering from depression do to the weekly brain  insults he suffers
